Welcome to the Wings Flying Club located at historic Bowman Field in Louisville KY.

The Wings Flying Club is a non-profit organization established over 30+ years ago to promote general aviation and the enjoyment of low wing aircraft. The purpose of the club is to provide safe and reliable aircraft, at economical rates, so members can hone their piloting skills, work on advanced ratings, or just enjoy flying.

CLUB MEETINGS: Club meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month at 7:30pm in the Louisville Aero Club at Bowman Field. The agenda usually starts with general business topics, and is followed by a Safety Program session.

AIRCRAFT: The club currently has one aircraft - a PA28-161 Piper Warrior - hangered at Bowman Field. It is IFR certified with a Garmin 430 GPS. The engine was overhauled in 2009. Pictures and plans for interior and exterior upgrades can be found here.

Initiation Fee $150
Membership $60 per month
N40015 - Warrior $35 per Hobbs hr (dry)

FLIGHT INSTRUCTION: The club has certified flight instructors as members. These CFIs operate independently of the club. Instruction in the club aircraft is limited to only the club CFI's and club members.
